Before you begin setting up the MyOwnSIM integration, please ensure you have the following prerequisites in place. Meeting these requirements will help guarantee a smooth installation and optimal performance of the app.
Android Phone with SIM Card Device
SIM Card
The phone must contain the SIM card with the phone number you want to integrate into your CRM system.
Minimal Specifications:
Android OS version 7.0 (Nougat) or higher
At least 4 GB of RAM
Connectivity: The phone should have a reliable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to communicate with the CRM and MyOwnSIM services.
An Android smartphone is required to act as your SMS gateway and call interface.
CRM Subaccount Access
You need access to your CRM platform subaccount where you want to install the MyOwnSIM app. Your user role must have permissions to install and manage marketplace apps or integrations within that subaccount.
Ensure your CRM account is active and properly configured.
Internet Access
Both your Android phone and the device used to manage the CRM platform must have stable internet connectivity. This is essential for real-time SMS gateway operation, call triggering, and contact synchronization.
Costs derived from internet connection are NOT included in the tool costs or make us responsible. We use internet connection (WiFi / data) to stablish a gateway between both the clients and your CRM platform.
Additional Considerations Battery and Power
Since your phone will be actively used as a gateway, keep it charged or connected to a power source during operation.
If the device synced with the CRM is not active and with a proper internet connection, tools like SMS Gateway, Missed Call Text Back, Smart Dialer, etc may not work.
