Disable RCS (Rich Communication Services) Messaging
The RCS messaging system can interfere with SMS handling by the MyOwnSIM app. To avoid conflicts:
Open your default Messages app on your Android phone.
Go to Settings (usually by tapping the three dots or gear icon).
Disabling RCS ensures that SMS messages are properly routed through the MyOwnSIM app.
2. Enable Wi-Fi or VoLTE (Voice over LTE)
The Smart Dialer feature requires internet connection when making or receiving a call. To guarantee this behavior, you need to have Wi-Fi or 4G at all times during calls.
VoLTE is an alternative to WiFi that makes sure you still have interned access during calls, which also improves call quality. To enable it:
Open your phone’s Settings.
Navigate to Network & Internet > Mobile Network (this may vary slightly by device).
Find and enable VoLTE or Enhanced 4G LTE Mode.
If you don’t see this option, check with your mobile carrier to confirm if VoLTE is supported and enabled on your SIM.
By completing these mandatory configurations, you ensure that the MyOwnSIM app operates smoothly and reliably on your Android device.
